Month 2 | Ford Everest Platinum | Long Term Review

As we entered the second month of our long-term review with the Ford Everest Platinum V6, our appreciation for this flagship SUV only deepened. With an additional 2100km under our belt, we found ourselves continually amazed by the Everest Platinum's prowess and adaptability in various driving scenarios.

Our adventures took us far and wide, from bustling city streets to rugged off-road trails, and the Everest Platinum handled every challenge with grace and confidence. The smooth and responsive V6 turbo diesel engine, paired with the intuitive 10-speed automatic gearbox, ensured a seamless driving experience across diverse terrain.

One notable highlight of our journey was a trip to the farm, where the Everest Platinum showcased its off-road capabilities. While the low-profile rubber posed some challenges on rough terrain, the SUV's advanced suspension system and traction control mechanisms mitigated any concerns, allowing us to traverse unpaved roads with relative ease.

Back on the open road, the Everest Platinum continued to impress with its refined and comfortable ride, effortlessly gliding along highways and soaking up miles with aplomb. Whether tackling long stretches of asphalt or navigating tight urban environments, the SUV's adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring systems provided invaluable assistance, enhancing both safety and convenience.

Despite our initial concerns regarding fuel consumption, we were pleased to note a gradual improvement in efficiency over the second month of our review period. While still slightly higher than Ford's claimed figures, the Everest Platinum's fuel economy remained respectable atĀ 10.2l/100km, offering a balance between performance and practicality.

Throughout our time with the Ford Everest Platinum 7-Seater SUV, we found ourselves continually drawn to its luxurious interior, premium features, and overall sense of refinement. From family road trips to daily commutes, the SUV proved to be a versatile and reliable companion, capable of meeting the demands of modern-day motoring with ease.

In conclusion, the Ford Everest Platinum V6 has continued to impress us with its blend of performance, comfort, and versatility during the second month of our review. As we look forward to the remainder of our journey, we are excited to uncover even more about the Ford Everest Platinum and itsĀ capabilities.
