JAC Motors introduces budget-friendly X100 to local X-Series line-up

The new X100 one-tonne bakkie has been added to JAC Motors' local X-Series forward-cab lineup. The new workhorse from JAC Motors will go up against one-tonne competitors in the expanding LCV forward-cab market alongside its dependable siblings, the X200 2.8L TDI single-cab 1.5-tonne and double-cab 1.3-tonne bakkies.

With a payload of 1 040 kg, the new X100, like the well-liked X200, excels its immediate forward-cab rival in the performance area. Its class-leading 65 kW and 115 Nm are produced by its fuel-efficient Euro 4, 1, 240 cc 4-cylinder petrol engine, which also boasts remarkable fuel efficiency of 7.1 L/100 km (combined cycle). With a five-speed manual transmission, the rear wheels receive power.

The retail cost of the X100 will be disclosed nearer to its anticipated release date in the second quarter of this year. It will come with power steering, air conditioning, and electric windows as standard fittings and will be available in dropside configuration. It has a three-year/100,000-kilometer warranty and offers round-the-clock roadside support.
