#KiaTsamaya - Holiday adventure in the KIA Sonet Turbo

Are you ready for an adventure?

Let me take you on a journey to Mpumalanga, one of the most scenic destinations in South Africa. And what better way to explore this beautiful region than in a car that's suitable for road trips, the Kia Sonet Turbo?

As a musician and lifestyle influencer, I'm always on the go, so I was excited to hit the road in the Kia Sonet Turbo during the festive season. I had a variety of gigs and beautiful destinations lined up, and I have to say, the Kia Sonet was the most ideal companion.

The first thing that caught my attention about the car was its sleek and sporty design. It turned heads wherever we drove, and I felt like a superstar behind the wheel. The turbo engine had just the right amount of power to get us to all our gigs on time, and it was smooth and responsive on the open road.

We took the scenic route to Mpumalanga, and the Sonet handled the winding roads with ease. The car is available in 3 different engine options, but the turbo petrol was just right for our needs. It was nimble, but still, fuel-efficient, which was very convenient for our long journey.

Safety is always a top priority for me, and the Kia Sonet turbo didn't disappoint. The car is equipped with a wide range of safety features, including electronic stability control, hill start assist, and six airbags. It also has a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP, which gave me peace of mind during our expedition.

Before embarking on our 4-hour drive we had to know if all our travel gear would fit in the Kia Sonet Tubro and it’s safe to say the 392 litres boot capacity was just about right.

Inside, the Sonet was spacious and comfortable for all my passengers as they had ample legroom and headroom making it a very comfortable expedition. We knew this was the case on our very first pit stop at Milly’s restaurant. This is midway between Johannesburg and Mpumalanga. No one complained about any leg or backaches or pains rather we were all left in awe of the comfortability we had just experienced.

The infotainment system makes it easy to stay connected on the road. The car has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which is seamless to use, so we could stream our favourite tunes and podcasts all the way to Mpumalanga.

The ride quality of the Kia Sonet turbo was smooth and comfortable, making it an excellent choice for long trips. We drove over 400km to Mpumalanga, and the car did not disappoint. It was easy to handle, and we felt safe and secure on the road at all times.

One of the things I appreciated most about the car was its fuel efficiency. Despite its turbocharged engine, the car gets exemplary mileage (6.1L/100KM), which was very convenient for our long journey. We arrived at our destination in Hazyview on a single tank of fuel. This allowed us to explore Mpumalanga without worrying about running out of fuel or breaking the bank.

Overall, our road trip in the Kia Sonet Turbo was a huge success. The car was a pleasure to drive, and we had a tremendous time exploring one of the most beautiful regions in South Africa. I would definitely recommend the Kia Sonet Turbo to anyone who's looking for a reliable, fuel-efficient, and stylish car for their next road trip. Trust me, you won't regret it!
