The innovative Kia EV9 has been revealed

The first three-row electric flagship SUV, the Kia EV9, which embodies strong styling and elegant beauty both inside and out, has had its exterior and interior designs fully disclosed by Kia Corporation today. In the company's effort to offer sustainable mobility solutions, the Kia EV9 represents a significant advancement.

The EV9's assertive and confident appearance is influenced by Kia's "Opposites United" design concept, which uses the creative tension produced by the conflicting values of nature and modernity to produce a beautiful whole. The designers at Kia have created an SUV that is stunningly modern yet serenely graceful by fusing a special combination of sleek, sculptural lines and confident, aggressive geometry.

Exterior

The designers at Kia are inspired by the company's "Opposites Unified" design ethos as they work to produce cars with unmatched aesthetic appeal. The 'Bold for Nature' ideology pillar, which encourages the fusion of elements from the natural and material worlds, in particular, has been essential in shaping the external design of the EV9. The end result is an automobile that deftly mixes the tranquil calmness of a sophisticated EV with the undeniable aura of tough competence for all situations, opening up new design possibilities for future electric SUVs.

Simple, unambiguous body surfaces and lines that radiate confidence, clarity, and tranquillity are used to identify the front of the EV9. The EV9's distinctive "Digital Tiger Face" exudes a visionary and future look and feel and is accentuated by the "Digital Pattern Lighting Grille" and eye-catching vertical headlights. The bodywork of the Digital Tiger Face has two groups of tiny cube lamps next to each headlamp. The EV9's ground-breaking "Star Map LED daytime running lights (DRL)" produce a sophisticated animated lighting pattern that will serve as a visual cue for Kia's Digital Tiger Face on the company's upcoming EV cars.

The side profile of the EV9 was created using a polygonal design language, which seamlessly combines a strong and unmistakable SUV identity with remarkable aerodynamic efficiency. Along with the fuselage body, dynamic triangular wing structures and strongly defined geometric wheel arches form a unified structure with a definite appearance. A sense of swift and effective motion is created by flush door handles and a tapering back roofline.

The vehicle's tailboard, with its uncomplicated, sleek lines and exquisitely designed slim rear lights that mimic the front lights' design, further reflects the EV9's strong and certain stance.

Interior

Technology for Life, a cornerstone of the Kia "Opposites United" design philosophy, ensures that only innovations and technologies that foster pleasant, intuitive interactions between humans and machines are produced, opening up new possibilities for mobility. These principles were crucial in shaping how the EV9's interior was designed. These have made it possible for Kia's designers to rethink what a family Vehicle can provide, placing a priority on room, comfort, and technology for every passenger.

The EV9's long wheelbase, low beltline, and completely flat electric vehicle architecture, which were all made possible by Kia's Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), have allowed for the creation of generous space for all occupants to connect and relax in lounge-style comfort in all three rows of seats. In order to ensure that the EV9 provides equal space, comfort, and pleasure for all occupants without putting all of its focus on the driver, Kia solicited feedback from families about seating combinations and features.

When the EV9 is charging, passengers in the first and second rows can simultaneously recline their seats to unwind and sleep. To communicate with individuals seated in the third row, the chairs in the second row may easily swivel 180 degrees. Furthermore, cup holders and mobile device charging ports are included in the third-row seats.

The EV9 exudes an elegantly simple, premium quality, and exceptionally user-friendly design throughout the roomy, light, and airy cabin. The steering wheel is connected to the centre of the car by an open, floating panoramic dashboard. The digital experience is improved by the integration of two 12,3-inch touch displays with a 5-inch segment display. This allows for simple control of the vehicle's functions while minimising the need for physical buttons.

There are many storage options available on the centre console, including a large box at the bottom. The centre console doors are additionally created to enhance the interior's overall sophistication.

A rich and immersive experience is produced by the expanded display high-definition AVNT (audiovisual, navigation, and telematics) screen on the EV9. It improves users' capacity for seamless engagement and interaction with the digital world. An array of hidden type touch buttons enables AVNT and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) control in addition to a start/stop function beneath the AVNT screen.

The Kia EV9 will soon make its world debut and change how we move

In late March, the Kia EV9 will have its digital world debut. At the occasion, Kia will reveal all product details and launch a worldwide advertising campaign with the tagline, ‘Here to reshape the way we move.’
