This entails a dark front grille treatment that extends to the magnetite-segmented LED headlights and fog lights, and the taillights also have the same dark appearance. New 17-inch alloy wheels and LED rear combination lights are added to the entry-level mu-X LS-M, while the mid-range LS-U receives a hands-free tailgate, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and magnetite highlights on the dashboard and doors of the cabin. All of the aforementioned are added to the top-tier LS-T, along with a set of 20-inch alloy wheels.

All mu-X variants now have new safety software from Isuzu that includes an automatic function for turning off the blind-spot monitoring system and rear cross-traffic alarms when towing. Adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, rear cross-traffic alerts, trailer sway control, forward collision warnings with AEB turn assist, lane keep assist, and eight airbags all around the cabin are all included in the mu-X’s standard safety package.
There is no confirmation yet when will these updates be seen in the South African market.
