Defender 130 V8

A 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, which offers a compelling blend of performance, cruising refinement, and capability is also being added to the Defender 130 line-up. Defender 130 is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in as low as 5.7 seconds thanks to its 368kW and 610Nm of torque. With its arrival, eight-seaters now have three engine options at the top of the line-up, in addition to the six-cylinder Ingenium P400 and D300.

The exterior of the Defender 130 V8 offers a covert look. It comes with quad outboard-mounted exhausts, which are only found on the V8, a sliding panoramic roof with a black contrast roof, V8 exterior badging, Matrix LED headlights with signature daytime running lights, darkened tail lights, Privacy Glass, and 22-inch Satin Dark Grey alloy wheels. It is only offered in Carpathian Grey or Santorini Black.

A heated steering wheel covered in suede, an Ebony Morzine headliner, and a Satin Black cross car beam complete the look. The Defender 130 V8 also has a Meridian Sound System, Head-Up Display, Interactive Driver Display, Cabin Air Purification Plus, Four-Zone Climate Control, heated row-three seats, and climate seats in the second row.

County Exterior Pack for Defender 110

The new County Exterior Pack is available for Defender 110 customers who want to further customise their vehicles. Its distinctive exterior appearance, which draws inspiration from the original Defender County, has been updated to honour the illustrious past of the 4x4. For the Defender 110 SE variant, the County Exterior Pack is offered in South Africa. The most striking addition is the County logos along the doors and body sides, while illuminated treadplates greet the driver and passengers with a distinctive County graphic. Stunning 20-inch alloy wheels come in two colours, including Gloss White to match the exterior pack's distinctive design.

There are numerous interior colour and material combinations available, including Resist seats, Grained Leather, and Windsor Leather, all finished in Ebony. Additionally, vehicles in Fuji White and Santorini Black can be ordered with an Acorn with Lunar interior. The Cross Car Beam is available in Light Grey or White and carries a part of the County Exterior Pack into the interior details, which also incorporates tactile Robustec veneer.

All Defender 90 and Defender 130 eight-seat vehicles come standard with a useful Loadspace Floor Tray. An almost flat loadspace floor is made possible by the new feature, which also has internal storage. It also guarantees that no room is wasted and that access to D-loops is kept open. Existing Defender 90 and Defender 130 eight-seat owners can also purchase the new attachment from a nearby retailer. A new parachute grab handle, a quick fold and slide row one passenger seat, and the addition of row two 40:20:40 folding rear seats with centre armrests have all been added to the Defender 90 to speed up entry to row two.

Defender 130 Outbound, Defender 130 V8 and Defender 110 with County Exterior Pack are all currently available for pre-order; delivery to South Africa is scheduled for the latter part of 2023.
