THE TANK 300 by GWM GETS A 5-STAR ANCAP RATING

International news: The ANCAP, Australasia's independent authority on vehicle safety, has given the GWM TANK 300 HEV the highest possible five-star safety certification.

Through a series of destructive crash tests, its capacity to avoid or lessen the severity of a collision with another vehicle, a pedestrian, or a cyclist, and through a variety of active collision avoidance performance tests, the TANK 300 HEV was evaluated for its ability to physically protect its occupants and other road users in the event of an accident.

The overall results in 4 areas of performance for the TANK 300 HEV were:

  • Adult Occupant Protection 88%
  • Child Occupant Protection 89%
  • Vulnerable Road User Protection 81%
  • Safety Assist 85%
