The Volkswagen Polo Vivo GT gets a fresh new look

Since its introduction on the local market in 2018, around 120 000 (119 679) second-generation Volkswagen Polo Vivo cars have been sold. The Polo Vivo has sold 313 620 units cumulatively since it was originally offered in South Africa in 2010.

The top-of-the-line Volkswagen Polo Vivo GT will soon receive an updated appearance and interior design.

The Polo Vivo GT's distinctive features and style have been improved while maintaining its position as the company's flagship model. Silver mirror caps, a GT rear decal, wheels, dash inlays, and GT decals on the front door are some of the exterior features.

The fabric insert and thread colors have been altered from blue to red for a sportier interior appearance. The handbrake and gear lever now have new grey stitching that matches the exterior details. On the loose lay mats for the Polo Vivo GT renewal, the GT logo will be embroidered. There are five exterior color options for the Polo Vivo GT, including the brand-new Wild Cherry Red metallic shade.

A single pipe exhaust with chrome trim, Safety Package, Lights and Vision Package, and 17-inch Mirabeau alloys are just a few of the appealing aesthetic elements that come standard on the Polo Vivo GT. Front sport seats, pedals with an aluminum-look, front and rear floor mats, and headliner in "Anthracite" are among the interior features. Cruise Control, a lowered suspension (-15mm), and a black rear spoiler are additional amenities.

The 1.0-litre TSI 81kW engine achieves an incredible peak speed of 196 km/h. At 2000 rpm, the 200Nm torque is easily available. The 81kW engine's outstanding stated fuel consumption of 4.6 litres per 100 kilometres shows that performance has not come at the expense of fuel efficiency.

The suggested retail price includes VAT and emissions taxes.
