GWM reveals the Tank 300 and the ORA EV at the FOM
Visitors of the Festival of Motoring 2023 got to see and experience GWM South Africa’s local product line-up addition. Alongside the current line-up that includes the Haval Jolion, Haval H6 and GWM P-Series, the Chinese vehicle manufacturer revealed the Tank 300 4X4 SUV and the Funky Cat ORA electric vehicle.
GWM has set its sights firmly both in the off-road market as well as the electric vehicle space. Both models are set to be officially launched later in the year.
GWM Tank 300 4x4
The GWM Tank 300 has a sleek and boxy design that gives it a distinct styling but design influences from other enduring off-road vehicles, such as the Ford Bronco, Suzuki Jimny and Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon can’t be ignored.

GWM FUNKY CAT ORA EV
The fully electric Funky Cat Ora has a smooth and graceful physique, which is the result of a technological and aesthetic fusion. This EV looks beautiful and feels comfortable and can be charged using the GridCars charging station network, which has over 350 charging points around South Africa.
