JAC Motors introduces new T8 2.0L TCi double-cab

In its 58 year history, JAC Motors has introduced its most advanced pick-up. It features a 2.0L TCi engine and is available as a double-cab. The spectacular T8 2.0L CTi line-up consists of a 4×2 and a 4×4 derivative.
The striking look features the two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels with floral-inspired design while the front adopts a large-area hexagonal black grille that is connected to the stylishly designed Xenon headlamps with built-in LED Daytime Running Lights. The bumper integrated Fog lamps round off the front end, The JAC T8 will also be available in six colours.
On the inside, you get a multi-function steering wheel, adjustable steering column, cruise control, air-conditioner, leather seats and electric windows. It also features a multi-information display instrument cluster, a reverse camera, rear park distance sensors, remote keyless entry and central locking with auto door locks. The 9-inch infotainment comes standard with Bluetooth and Apple car play/Android Auto smartphone connectivity.
The JAC T8 is 5325 mm long,1880 mm wide, and 1 830 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3090 mm. The turning radius of the T8 is 6.2 metres, making urban- and off-road driving easy.
Powering the T8 is the newly engineered 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine producing 104kW @3600 rpm and 320Nm of torque between 1600 to 600 rpm connected to the six-speed manual transmission to deliver power effortlessly in all the torque available throughout its powerband.
Safety
To ensure the driver and passenger's safety the T8 features disc brakes in the front and rear, with an Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Override System, Hydraulic Brake Assist and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
There is no journey the T8 4x4 cannot handle features a reliable ESOF electronically-controlled time-sharing four-wheel-drive system from BorgWarner. With the press of a button, the driver can switch between two-wheel drive (2H) and four-wheel drive (4H) up to 80 km/h. It is fit for adventurous families and is the perfect lifestyle bakkie.
Pricing
The retail amount for T8 2.0L CTi 4×2 Lux is R412 400 and for T8 2.0L CTi 4×4 Lux is R462 400 including the company's standard 5-year/150 000 km manufacturer's warranty and 5-year/60 000 km service plan. Service intervals are scheduled every 10 000 km. A full rage of accessories is available for customizations to the customers liking.
